Fourplay
"FourPlay" is a charming romantic comedy that explores "life after sex," where two couples, who feel that their marriages are losing their luster, begin to lust after one another's spouses.

Ben (MIKE BINDER Steven Speilberg's "The Minority Report," "The Contender," HBO's "The Mind of the Married Man") is an American sitcom writer for the hit television show "Seinfeld," who is hired to move to London to invigorate a popular UK sitcom.

The star of the show, Carly (MARIEL HEMINGWAY "Manhattan," "Deconstructing Harry," "Star 80") and her husband, Allen (COLIN FIRTH "Bridget Jones' Diary," "Shakespeare in Love," The English Patient"), the show's producer, decide to fix Ben up with their sexy French friend, Fiona (IRENE JACOB "US Marshalls," "Othello").

As love leads to marriage, Ben and Fiona have a beautiful wedding day, which everyone thoroughly enjoys. Everyone, that is, except for Allen, who struggles through, what he calls, the "worst day of my life!" His passion for Carly has faded, and he finds that he has fallen deeply for Fiona. After the wedding, Allen heads out to the local pub to down some beers, and take out his frustrations by beating up two of his employees -- a habit he has developed over the years.

Soon enough, Ben begins to lose his lust for Fiona, and becomes hopelessly obsessed with Carly.

In order to seduce Carly, Ben comes up with the perfect plan. He convinces Carly to agree to have sex with him, if he can prove that their spouces, Allen and Fiona, are having an affair. Also finding herself extremely drawn to Ben, Carly agrees -- as long as she has proof.

At Ben's insistence, the two couples plan a seemingly innocent weekend get-away at a Bed and Breakfast. But Ben has other plans in mind. He was told that this Bed and Breakfast had walls so thin, that his friend spent a miserable weekend there listening to an overweight couple in the next room make loud, passionate love all night long. This was just what Ben wanted.

Ben manipulates the situation so that Allen and Fiona arrive at the hotel alone, with the belief that their spouses would not be able to join them after all. But Ben and Carly sneak into the hotel, and during a hilarious night of twists and turns, Ben proves to Carly that Allen and Fiona are sleeping together. To settle the score, Carly agrees to have sex with Ben.

When things come to the surface and with everyone in the wrong, they all decide to sit down and discuss the situation "as adults." To Ben and CarlyÕs surprise, Allen and Fiona actually confess their undying love for one another, and run off together leaving Ben and Carly totally stunned.

As time passes, Allen and Fiona get married, Ben and Carly move in together, and, everybody is happy once again. Until, that is, life after sex comes back into play and Allen begins to lose feelings for Fiona. She pleads with him to see a therapist for one last attempt at saving their marriage. Comically, they end up seeing the Labor Relations Therapist from their television show (STEPHEN FRY "Gosford Park," A Civil Action"), who is unprepared and extremely uncomfortable with the explicit descriptions of their sex life.

When it seems too late for any of them to ever find true happiness again, a series of hysterical events take place as Allen, Fiona, Ben and Carly are able to finally find what they each truly want out of life . . . after sex.
