Amidst the frenzy of a movie set, Jake Weber (PETER DeLUISE TV's "21 Jump Street," "Seaquest"), a rude and crude popular movie actor whose star is waning, finds himself playing opposite Georgina Carlyle (LISA ROTONDI "Jerry Maguire," "The Edge"), a feisty and sexy actress whose star is on the rise.
Tension abounds between the two, but when Georgina is left without a date to the Television Network Awards, Jake is recruited to be her beau for the event. Reluctantly, the two perform brilliantly as a couple. . . so well the public and the media actually believe they are in love. The public response is so strong that Jake and Georgina's assistants, Edwardo (MARCO SANCHEZ) and Layla (ELYSSA DAVALOS), convince them that pretending to be a couple will thrust them into super-stardom.
Can their love be for real or will it be just an act? Sparks fly as Jake and Georgina find themselves both inexplicably drawn and repulsed by the other and the confusion between their on-set romance and real-life relationship begins.
