    RANK AND SALE
Ever wonder which US-based foreign sales outfits enjoy the best reputations in the industry? In an attempt to answer that question, veteran Los Angeles entertainment attorney Mark Litwak has just published preliminary results for his Filmmaker's Clearinghouse, a Web site devoted to disseminating information about distributor performance. Independent film-makers were asked to assess the companies on a scale of one to five, judging them on such criteria as the quality of marketing materials and the timeliness of producer reports and payments. Among those scoring high overall marks were Amazing Movies, Overseas FilmGroup, Showcase Entertainment and Lakeshore International.
